The Parents' Role
Parents play a vital role in their child's therapy program and are encouraged to be an active participant. We believe that parents and therapists should form a partnership in order to best meet the needs of each child.
At Children's Therapy Works, our therapists usually form a close relationship with the child's parents. The therapist will develop a specialized treatment program and engage with the parents to ensure that a full appreciation of the child's goals and objectives are understood.
More importantly, regular reviews with the parents are essential to ensure that progress is being made against these goals, and what areas need to be focused on to achieve the next stage of the child's development.
By adopting this inclusive approach, Children's Therapy Works often achieves results that parents didn't think possible in the timeframe.
Our testimonials from satisfied parents reflect this achievement.
